Jag’s First Birthday

We celebrated Jag’s birthday early in San Antonio with our family. It was so much fun and he had a great time at his party. He loved the balloons, enjoyed his first taste of chocolate cake, was surprised by the cold ice cream and loved opening his presents (since he got a little taste of that at Christmas not too long ago!)

The cake plate is a family cake plate that all of the kids have had their first birthday cake on. This plate has been in the family since 1905!

We feel so loved and blessed to have such a wonderful, loving and supportive family!

Early 2009

We’ve been pretty busy this year already! Jag has been crawling and cruising like crazy and pretty close to walking! He will be one year old on February 29th (well, actually, the 28th this year). Some of Jag’s favorite things are: the coveted Blue Blanky, Baby Einstein videos, his Brown Bear book, remotes, his yellow ring, his choo-choo train, his books, his drum and musical instruments, his kitties, the swing, and of course, his mommy and daddy! What a little personality! He is super sweet and smart and we love him so much!

Jag had such a fun first Christmas! We went to San Antonio to visit our family and he enjoyed opening presents, but especially loved the jingle bells at Grammie’s house!

Amid the Crash - CD Release Party

J.R.’s band, Amid the Crash, had an amazing CD Release Party on December 5th. So many friends were there to support the band and it was such an amazing night of music. We are excited about what this year will bring with the band and hope you will join their fanpage on Facebook and their mailing list on their website to keep up with what is going on with AtC.
